Dimethyloxalylglycine (DMOG) inhibits PHD or prolyl hydroxylase domain-containing proteins, activating HIF1α and inhibiting JMJD2A (IC50 = 2.5 μM). Displays neuroprotective effects. Inhibits neuronal cell death caused by neurotrophin deprivation. DMOG prevents activation of the ATR/CHK1/p53 pathway and suppresses apoptosis induced by DNA damage.
Inhibits prolyl hydroxylase domain-containing proteins
|Handling||Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid formation of dust and aerosols.Further processing of solid materials may result in the formation of combustible dusts. The potential for combustible dust formation should be taken into consideration before additional processing occurs|
