Luria Broth [Miller's LB Broth], Granulated, 500 G

For propagation and maintenance of E. coli. High salt formula, molecular biology grade.
 

Dissolve 25 grams in 1 liter distilled water and adjust the pH to 7.2. Heat and frequently agitate to completely dissolve. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes. Material specially granulated to reduce dust and increase solubility rate.
 

• Appearance of Solution: Prepared medium is yellow to gold and clear to moderately hazy
• pH (2.5% H2O @25 °C): 6.8 - 7.2

Ingredients:

• Tryptone:10 g/L
• Sodium Chloride: 10 g/L
• Yeast Extract: 5 g/L
