Description

4-Nitrophenyl-2-acetamido-2-deoxy-B-D-galactopyranoside is used a chromogenic substrate for detecting N-acetyl-β-D-galactosaminidase.  

 

Applications

• Substrate for N-acetyl-β-D-galactosaminidase in a spectrophotometric assay and glycosyl hydrolase assays.

• Substrate in β-hexosaminidase assay.
