Description

Shz-1 is a cell-permeable sulfonylhydrazone (Shz) small molecule that acts as an enhancer of myocardial regenerative repair by stem cells. Potently induces Nkx2.5 and a subset of other cardiac markers, including myocardin, troponin-I, and sarcomeric tropomyosin (STM) in a variety of different stem/progenitor cells.
