Description:
Ticarcillin Disodium Salt inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis. Can be used as an antibiotic in the treatment of infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria. Ticarcillin disodium salt is highly active against Gram-negative bacteria such as Agrobacterium strains.
Applications:
In molecular biology, ticarcillin is used to as an alternative to ampicillin sodium to test the uptake of marker genes into bacteria.
